In the evening there was a fireworks display on the bank of the Amur River. First a shot is fired from these canons, and then a volley of fireworks, one-by-one, until all the canons have fired. We won�t be sitting nearly as close to the fireworks next year, though. Those canons were insanely loud. We prefer to celebrate the end of WWII, not feel like we�re participating in it.
