Since none of the churches here have baptisteries and since the Amur River is cold and polluted, churches usually rent a pool or sauna to do baptisms. On this day, 11 new followers of Jesus were baptized in a small pool, about the size of a hot tub, in a sauna facility. It was, so to say, a little steamy in there. (pun absolutely intended)
